EIT Students in the last semester - Convocation 2013

Dear brothers and sisters

Students who are undergoing for EIT in Semester III, 2012/2013 and would like to go for convocation this year (2013), please be informed that the date for submission of the following reports/documents to the EIT Programme Coordinator/EIT Unit is extended to 10/9/2013:-

1) EIT FINAL REPORT + CD

2) EIT Logbook

3) EIT Student Survey (ONLINE)

**In-Shaa-Allah, we will try our very best to make the necessary arrangement (which relates to EIT) so that your convocation can be realized this year (2013).

Congratulations! Snap-petition Winner Second Phase

EIT Visit – List of Visiting Lecturers

Assalamu’alaikum

Dear brothers and sisters

Please click HERE for the list of visiting lecturers (updated 24/7/2013)

list of contact numbers for lecturers (HERE) for your kind attention and necessary action.

Kindly take note of the following:-

1)     Contact the lecturer concerned to fix the date of the visit (the date of the visit is from 29/7/2013 until 30/8/2013).

2)     Make preparation for the visit

·         Get ready with the presentation assessment (marks=20%) (Presentation could be in terms of project presentation using the power point; factory visit; etc)

·         Ensure that your supervisor (or company’s representative is available during the visit)

·         Advise the company’s supervisor to fill-in the EIT Supervisor’s Evaluation Form and hand over the filled form to the visiting lecturer during the visit (the form is available in the EIT Logbook)

v  The visit will only be conducted on students who are undergoing EIT locally (students who are undergoing EIT overseas will be visited under special cases)

v  Students who are not being visited will have to do his/her presentation in the second week of the new semester (Semester I, 2013/2014) – a schedule of presentation will be posted in the EIT blog and also the EIT Notice Board available at Level 2, Engineering Block E0 (near the Office of the Deputy Dean, Academic Affairs)

Please contact your EIT Programme Coordinator or EIT Unit ASAP on the following matters:-

1--   Your name is not in the list.

2--   The company’s name and information is not correct

3--   Your visiting lecturer is not reachable

STRONG REMINDER ON SUBMISSION OF EIT JOBSCOPE CONFIRMATION FORM

Assalamu’alaikum

Dear brothers and sisters

The following students are required to fill-in and submit (ONLINE) the EIT Jobscope Confirmation Form latest by Friday, 19/7/2013.

The list of the students not yet submitted the above mentioned form is HERE.

Please be strongly reminded that failing which will result of deduction of 10% from the total  EIT marks.

Students in the last semester - Convocation 2013

Assalamu’alaikum

Dear brothers and sisters

We have been informed that Semester III, 2012/2013 is the last semester for some students who are now undergoing the EIT.

 If you would like to go for convocation this year (2013), kindly take note of the following:-

1) submit your name to Sr. Roslina (roslina.m@iium.edu.my)  latest by Wednesday, 17/7/2012 -  EIT Unit will make a special arrangement with your department for your early EIT assessment  and other EIT related matters .

2) submit your FINAL REPORT to Sr. Roslina latest by 2/8/2012. (We only need you to submit your report earlier in order to meet the Senate’s meeting date. However, your EIT will continue until the end of the period as decided earlier)

3) To arrange the EIT visit and to have your presentation assessment with your EIT Programme Coordinator latest by 2/8/2012
