Dear students,
Just a reminder, after submitting the EIT Online Shortlisted Form, you are required to :
Prepare all the application
credentials to be submitted to each company:-
- Cover letter (you need to write this- it is a letter from you to the company indicating your area of interest, etc.). Documents to be attached to your cover letter are:-
· Your updated
resume
·
Your current
partial transcripts (request your PC to certify true copy if the transcript is
not original copy)
·
Supporting letter
(that you collect from EIT Unit – beginning from 24/12/2012)
·
Reply Form*
· Any relevant
credentials certificates, (optional – if do enclose, ensure with certified true
copy)
Please make sure you write “Attn: Human Resource Department”
on the envelope in which you send your application
2. Submit your application to the company – by post or by
hand AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Delay in
submitting your application to companies may result in you will not getting any
offer.
- In case the company asks you to fax the application, and you need help on this, please consult the Administration Office, EIT Unit Admin. (There is a cost for fax service)
3. Within 2-3 weeks, follow up
with the company regarding your application status, ask the company;

Have the company
received your application?
- If NO, inform them that you want to resubmit if they do have vacancy for trainee.
- If YES, ask:

When they are
going to process the application?
(Make sure you know the exact date when you can get
their feedback.)

going to acknowledge the result of your application?

From time to
time, check if there is any feedback from the company on the
‘EIT
Notice Board’ or eitunit.blogspot.com (in the Decision From Companies Section)
